A Mission Where Everyone has a Part

The Lord has created all the earth and everything that has breath in it. Even though the world is broken, God is in the work of redeeming it to reflect and delight in His glory. This happens as people come to faith and trust in Jesus Christ as their only Savior, Master, King, and Friend. 

Pastor John Piper has reminded us that Jesus followers only have three possibilities in relation to missions. You can be a goer, you can be a sender, or you can be disobedient. There is no other option but those three. In other words, all people of God play have been called to play some part in God's mission of filling the world with his worship and joy. You can go and make disciples, you can send those who go make disciples, or you can disobey the words of Christ and therefore the heart of God. 

This is a high calling. Yet it is also a grand invitation to join in on the story that the Lord is weaving in this global tapestry. What part will you play?

I am sent out by Mission to the World (MTW), the global missions-sending agency of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). The ministry of MTW in Japan is made possible by people like you who have supported prayerfully and financially in worship of God. 

I have a monthly budget of $4,200, or $50,400 annually. This includes compensation, ministry expenses, living allowance, insurance, etc. and administrative fees to MTW.

Q: Is a financial contribution tax-deductible?
A: Yes, all financial contributions given through MTW are tax-deductible. 

Q: Are there different options for making a financial contribution? 
A: Yes, you can set up a recurring donation: monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, or semi-annually. 

Q: When do I give?
A: You can start giving at any time! Every gift given under my Missionary Number is stored in my account with MTW (Acct # 92897).

Q: How long am I pledging for?
A: As long as you feel led! As far as I know, I will be in Japan for the rest of my life. But please do not feel that a commitment now means you cannot stop giving if it becomes necessary in the future. Life happens.
